Robert J. Ardner, 83, of Tulsa, OK ended his courageous battle with cancer on August 26, 2014. He was born August 31, 1930 in Fostoria, OH, served in the Air Force, and retired from Williams Co. Tulsa. Robert enjoyed perfecting his yard, singing in the church choir, golf and cards with friends. He was an avid OSU Cowboy and the Oklahoma City Thunder fan and was active with Neighbor for Neighbor and Meals on Wheels and Day Center for the Homeless. Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joanne and daughters, Andrea Stephens (Tulsa) and Alisa Roberts (Virginia), sons-in-law Tom Roberts and Joe Spellman (Bixby), grandchildren Cody, Karlee & Kali Roberts and Katie Spellman and Sister Ruth Hunt (Ohio). He is preceded in death by daughter Allison Spellman and grandson Andrew Spellman. Visitation will be August 28th at Fitzgerald's Southwood from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be August 29th at Church of the Resurrection @ 1:00pm followed by a Veteran's Presentation at Calvary Cemetery.
