Robert Chester Baginski passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at The Stratford Senior Living Center in Phoenix, AZ. He was 79. Bob was born December 28, 1935 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Mitchell and Viola (Denniston) Baginski.

After 42 years with Citgo Petroleum Corporation in both Baltimore and Tulsa, he retired and traveled the world with his beloved wife, Bea. While in retirement Bob remained very active in the business world serving on the board of directors for the Tulsa branch of the Citgo Federal Credit Union, Energy One.

Robert was married to Beatrice Marie (Newberger) Baginski for 52 years until her death in 2007. His oldest daughter, Hope Hawksworth, also preceded him in death in September 2011. Bob is survived by two children, Faith Blaylock and Tim Baginski; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a Rosary Service to be held Wednesday, November 4th, at 6:30 p.m at Fitzgerald Southwood Funeral Home, 3612 E 91st St. South (918) 291-3500. Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 5, at the Church of Saint Mary, 1347 E. 49th Place. Family suggests contributions in his memory made to Catholic Charities Tulsa (cctulsa.org/donate).
