Robert Daniel Smith "Bob" 70 years of age, Passed on Saturday, 7/27/2024 at home with his Children at his bedside.
Robert was born September 19, 1953 in Phoenix Arizona to the late World War II Veteran Daniel and Mother Marylouise Smith. He was the youngest of five children. Robert attended school in Phoenix Arizona. He took on a Trade as a Master Welder/ Boiler Maker. He worked for Arizona Public Service Power Plant in New Mexico until his retirement. Robert lived most of his adult life in Farmington, New Mexico.
Robert Married April Metcalf in 1973 and 3 Children were born from this union. Shanna, Corrina, and Charlie. Robert was a person that devoted his life to his work. He was always working and making things or improving things. He was an engineer at heart. The one thing he liked most to do through his lifetime was to laugh. He loved to tell jokes and had the funniest laugh to go with it. He would say, "My name is Bob, don't spell it backward". He loved Food and cooking food. He felt strongly about his faith. He would talk about his faith with anyone he could.
Robert is survived by his children, daughter Shanna and husband Warren Daniel, daughter Corrina and husband Kevin Smith and son Charlie with wife Mary Joy Smith. Also surviving him is one brother, Mike, and 3 sisters ,Margret Mary, Marylouise, and Patty Ann. Along with his 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
