Obituary

Robert "Bob" Keenan was born in Rome, New York, the second child of John Keenan and Gertrude Harriets Keenan. Robert spent his youth with his two brothers and thee sisters on Long Island, New York. He graduated from Center Moriches High School. After graduation Robert joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country as an electronics technician. After his 4 year service ended, he worked and put himself through college while raising a family in Massachusetts.

Years later, Robert returned to Long Island to help run the family seafood business.

Robert met his beautiful wife, Roberta, and they married in 1984. Together, they traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1985, where both graduated from Rhema Bible College.

Robert received his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant and enjoyed working with children at the Little Lighthouse. He and Roberta built a successful business together in Tulsa as well as in their 10 years of living in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Robert was a hard working self made man but, more importantly, he was a man of deep faith.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Roberta Keenan; daughter and son in law, Christy Keenan-Grieshaber and Jim Grieshaber; grandson, James Grieshaber, all of Tulsa; son, Sean Keenan; sisters, Robin, Rosemary and Rita; and brother, Raymond; as well as many nieces and nephews on the East Coast.

Robert will be interred in a private family service at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. A celebration of a life well lived will be announced at a later date.
