Obituary

Robert Edward Saizow passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 3, 2016. He
was born in 1925 in Kansas City, MO. After joining the Navy and serving in World War II, Robert
attended the University of Illinois and earned a degree in Engineering. He moved to Tulsa, OK
and married Jolene Dan Saizow in 1953. Shortly after, he started an air conditioning business
called Climate Control, which he owned for more than 50 years. He and Jolene had two
children, Ron and Hildy Saizow, and four beautiful grandchildren.


Robert was involved in the community serving as President of Temple Israel Brotherhood and
advisor for AZA youth organization. He loved and played sports his entire life – baseball,
basketball, and tennis. He played competitive tennis for many years, including the Senior
Olympics twice. In great health and spirit most of his life, he played tennis with friends till age
90. He had boundless energy and a zest for life.


We will celebrate his life at Temple Israel, 2004 East 22nd Place, Tulsa, at 11:00am, on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Donations may be made to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
