TAYLOR, Robert J., age 86, died May 25, 2010 at his home. He was born April 2, 1924 in Muskogee, OK. Bob married Ann Miller of Tulsa, OK on July 23, 1948 in the Rose Chapel at Boston Avenue Methodist Church. He spent his career at Warren Petroleum where he was Manager of Marine Division and served on the National LP Gas Association Committee for 33 years before retiring in 1982. Bob and Ann then moved to Florida where they spent the next 25 years before returning to Tulsa 3 years ago. Bob was active in the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. He was always more concerned with other people's lives; and wanted to help. He was an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt, fish and the outdoors. To celebrate their 30th anniversary, Bob and Ann hosted what was proclaimed to be by then Mayor of Tulsa, Jim Inhoff, "Taylor's Okie Bash Day" on Grand Lake. A night to remember by all who attended. Survivors include, Ann, his wife; 3 children, Robert J. Taylor Jr. and his wife Donna, Nancy Taylor Oakley and her husband Jon and John N.
