We are sad to announce the death of Roberta "Robbi" Ann Clinkscales of Tulsa, who left us on December 3rd, 2022, at 77 years old. We are thankful that she is now free from sickness and rejoicing in Heaven. Robbi was a sweet and caring woman, who exuded a deep love for her family and had a great sense of humor.
Robbi was born in College Station, Texas, the younger daughter of Anna Geraldine (Burgess) Heiman and Hugo Walter Heiman. She graduated from Edison High school in 1963, and went on for further training at St. John's Hospital, to become a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
In 1965, Robbi met the love of her life, Worth Clinkscales. They wed in Tulsa on December 17th, 1966. Robbi started her x-ray technician career in hospitals and later moved on to work in private practices. She retired from x-ray after nearly 20 years and began a new career adventure with Worth in their own start-up business, Vironostics Laboratories. She handled the Administrative side of the business while Worth ran the laboratory. Robbi and Worth successfully ran their laboratory for almost 25 years, until their retirement.
During her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, volunteering at her church, and watching her children and grandchildren grow up. In her later years, Robbi was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and it ultimately progressed to the point where full-time care was needed. She was cared for by the staff at the Grace nursing facility, where she remained until her passing.
Robbi is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Worth Clinkscales; two sons and their families, the eldest, Damon and his wife Sarah and their two children, Maia and Evan; as well as their younger son, Joshua, his wife Maria, their son, PJ, and his wife, Emily. Robbi was also survived by her older sister, Sharon Syfrett; her half sister, Robbi Bass; and her cousin, Henry Lindley; as well as many other extended family and friends.
The celebration of Robbi's life will be held this Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at 12:00 Noon, at Christ Church Episcopal, 10901 S. Yale Ave., Tulsa, OK 74137.
