Roclyn Rae "Rocky" (Nord) Humphrey, age 79, passed into God's hands on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 1:13 pm in Ascension St. John Hospital Central, Tulsa, OK. Rocky is survived by her husband, Steven, Broken Arrow, OK, daughter, Erin, Golden, CO, son, Brian, Lakewood, CO with his wife, Sarabeth, two grandchildren, Jackson, Denver, CO and Sadie, a freshman at Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, CO, her sister, Ramona, Omaha, NE, brother, Rodney, Dallas, TX and a great many nieces and nephews.

Born in Red Oak, IA on August 16, 1947 to Robert and Mabel Nord, "Rocky" was the fourth of five children in the Nord family. Roberta, Richard, both deceased, and Ramona are her older siblings and Rodney is the fifth and youngest.

The Nord family lived in Stanton, IA where Rocky attended elementary school. The family moved to Omaha when Rocky was in fifth grade. She attended elementary school in Benson, NE, middle school in west Omaha and graduated from Westside High School in Omaha in 1965. Rocky attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) for three years and was a sister in Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Rocky was an avid snow skier, loved playing games including casino games of chance and became quite accomplished as a Mah Jongg player. Rocky loved entertaining family and friends in her home and she loved her family and friends with all her heart.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who knew and loved her.

Private family service will be held.
