Dr. Ronald Ellis Bergman was born to the late Nathan and Jean Rovinski Bergman in Long Branch, New Jersey on July 9, 1935.
He proudly served his country for three years in the US Army. He attended the University of Georgia, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the New York Chiropractic College, Brooklyn, NY. While practicing in Shreveport, LA, he met his wife Wilma. The young couple moved to Tulsa in 1973 to continue practice for an additional 41 years, where they proudly welcomed and raised their two sons, Dr. Jonathan Kyle Bergman and Blake Jordan Bergman, and delighted in the arrival of grandson, Harrison Beck Bergman.
Predeceased by sisters, Pearl Morris Bergman and Gloria Bergman. Survived by devoted wife of 41 years, Wilma Pratt Bergman; sons Dr. Jonathan Kyle Bergman (daughter-in-law Meghan) and Blake Jordan Bergman, grandson Harrison Beck Bergman; brothers Laurence Bergman and Wayne Bergman. Special cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, all who spent endless hours sharing stories and jokes during much anticipated family gatherings. Dr. Bergman served 53 continuous years providing dedicated care to his loyal patients, and is a respected pioneer of the chiropractic profession, having fought diligently to legalize chiropractic in the state of Louisiana.

Graveside Services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27th, at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa.
