Ronnie D. Jett, 66, passed away peacefully December 4th, 2013. He was born in Springfield, MO on October 21st 1947 to Thelma and Ralph Jett. He moved with his family to Tulsa when he was six months old and never left… despite many requests. He graduated from Kemper Military School in Boonville, MO and attended Oklahoma State University and every other college in the state, but remained a life-long OSU fan.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Ralph. He is survived by his wife, Patti, and three children Ryan and his wife Shellie, Eric, and Adrianne Reynolds and her husband Ryan; sister Judy Young; three nieces and two nephews.
Ronnie retired many years ago as the former owner of Utility Tri-State. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing at Cedar Ridge Country Club and The Golf Club of Oklahoma. He was known for his massive drives… from the lady's tees.
Ronnie's family is forever grateful for the exceptional care he received from the doctors and staff at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Covenant Church on Saturday, December 7th at 11:00 AM. Men are encouraged to wear golf shirts rather than a suit, as that would have been Ronnie's preference. In lieu of flowers send donations to Redeemer Covenant Church.
He leaves behind everyone from the people he played golf with to anyone who simply waited on him at a restaurant. He made an impression, however big or small; you didn't forget him -- he just had a way.
