Ronald Gene Haverfield, born August 2, 1946, passed away September 29, 2013.
Ron served in the United States Air Force as a Precision Photograph Systems Technician. He continued to work as a technician on copiers and other photographic equipment throughout his life. He semi-retired in January 2013 and then worked part-time at Walmart.
Ron had a vast array of interests which included movies, short wave radio, painting military miniatures, collecting trains, airplanes and French Foreign Legion uniforms and medals. He loved music, books, and geography. His sense of humor will be forever remembered for his wit, knock-knock jokes, and puns. He loved to watch vintage television shows and cartoons. His favorite shows were "The Marx Brothers", "The Three Stooges" and "The Andy Griffith Show."
Ronald was loved and adored by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Venita Haverfield. He is survived by his wife, Christine Haverfield; daughter, Amy Standifer, and son-in-law, Chris Standifer; and grandchildren, Kyla Standifer and Nicholas Standifer. He is also survived by his stepson, Jason Weaver and his wife, Melissa Tibbits, and their son, Nathan Weaver; and stepdaughters Michelle Weaver and Kim Weaver. He was also a beloved brother-in-law and friend.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 South Boulder Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
