Rose Marie (Fontaine) Gerlach, 87, died peacefully on Monday, August 20th, her 69th wedding anniversary, surrounded by her loving husband Eugene, and her family.  A faithful Catholic and proud parishioner at St. Pius X, she loved babies and taking care of children.  Caring for several of her great-grandchildren kept her young and allowed her to enjoy the many generations of her large family.  She is survived by her loving husband, Gene, and her six children:  Nancy (Bob) Kurowski; Mark (Sylvia) Gerlach; Robert (Mary) Gerlach; Mary Jo (Tom) Thomas; John (Shari) Gerlach; and Fr. Matt Gerlach; 14 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. A viewing will be held Friday, August 24th from 5-7 p.m. at Saint Anne Catholic Church. Following the viewing a rosary will be prayed Friday, August 24th, 7:00 pm, at St. Anne Catholic Church.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 25th, 10:00 am, also at St. Anne Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pius X School Building Fund.
