Obituary
Rose Mary Haugen passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2013, in Oklahoma City a few days after her 87th birthday.
Rose Mary was born in Chetopa, Kansas on October 27, 1926 to Maurice Joseph Kennedy and Esther Mabel Jones. After graduating from Nowata High School, Rose Mary began working as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry. It was during this time that she met her future and lifelong husband Harold Leroy Haugen. They married on March 18, 1950 and made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, raising a son and a daughter.
Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold and her brother Maurice Kennedy, Jr. She is survived by her son Chris Haugen and his wife Becky of Oklahoma City, her daughter Lucinda Craft and husband Chris, and grandchildren Matthew and Rosemary Craft of Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
A Catholic graveside service was held Monday, November 4, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
