Obituary
Rose Julia Gorog Owellen went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Age 88, She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children, grandchildren and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard J. Owellen, PhD, MD, her parents and two elder brothers. She is survived by: her daughters, Joann M. Olsen, (Tannie E. Olsen) and Kathryn O. Wright (Gregory M. Wright); grandson Andrew E. Olsen, (Victoria E. Lanphere) and granddaughter Meredythe E. Olsen; niece Paula M. (Costello) Olsen, (M. Levi Olsen); grandnephew Charles H. "Hank" Olsen; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; many, many nieces and nephews; and grandpuppies, Bunny Olsen, Pockets Wright, and Bat Wright.

Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 South Boulder Avenue, Tulsa. Graveside services and interment will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3rd, at Maple City Cemetery in Maple City, Kansas.
