Born 9/1/1924, Spokane, WA
Died 3/21/2012, Tulsa, OK
Rose Sullivan left this world on
March 21, 2012, to live in the Lord's
house. There she has reunited
with her husband Frank and sons
Patrick, Michael, and Brian who
preceded her in death. She is survived
by granddaughter Megan
Sullivan and niece Karen Clark.
Rose was born in Spokane, WA
on September 1, 1924, to Otto
and Martha Tolar. After moving several
times as a result of Frank Sullivan's blossoming
paleontology career, the family's
final destination was to Tulsa in the late
1960's.
She was a housewife, mother, grandmother,
and friend to many. She was definitely
a giving person rather than
a taker. Until illness limited her
mobility, she regularly attended
St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Rose's favorite color was pink
and roses were her favorite, as
evidence by decorations in her
house. Christmas was a favorite
season and the sheer numbers of
Christmas decorations both inside
and outside her home proved
that.
