Rosemary Christine Buss Wilson was born on July 31, 1933 in Shoal Creek, Arkansas to Joe and Rose Buss. She graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She then moved to Tulsa and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, until she married Carl Wilson on February 10, 1962. She was a homemaker until the family opened CJ's Restaurant in 1975, where she was co-owner. Rosemary worked every day the restaurant was open ,until she broke her leg in Las Vegas in 2003. She continued to come and work the cash register, until CJ's closed in 2007.
She enjoyed visiting with family, especially her brothers and sisters, and loved going to softball games, where she met so many good friends The Firebird players and wives she considered as family. She also liked to play bingo and slot machines.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rose Buss; siblings, Sophie Buss, Bill Buss, Bob Buss, John Joe Buss and Ernest Buss; her husband, Carl Wilson; son, Joe Wilson; and daughter, Cindy Webb.
She is survived by her sisters, Cathy Marks of Tulsa, Margie Phillips of Paris, Arkansas, and Dorothy Schwartz and husband Buddy Schwartz of Shoal Creek, Arkansas. She is also survived by daughters, Debi Martin and husband Rick Martin of Sapulpa, Pame Phipps and husband Mike Phipps of Clayton, New Mexico, Susi Pate and husband Tim Pate of Owasso, and Lori Insley and husband Ed Insley of Owasso; sons, Nick Wilson and girlfriend April Gower of Tulsa and Jeff Wilson and wife Amy Wilson of Bixby; 21 grandchildren, Brandi, Shanna, JB, Carla, Shane, Mia, Megan, Jeremy, Shara, Sam, Sarah, Shelby, JJ, Kyle, Jake, Cherise, Kris, Brandon, Bryan, Chandler and Christa; 53 great- grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
Rosemary faced several medical issues, and her family kept her at home as long as they could. She spent the last few weeks of her life at the Porta Caeli House, in Tulsa. The family is so thankful for the care she received, as well as, all the love that was shown to them by the caregivers and volunteers, and where families are able to eat meals there seven days a week, at no cost whatsoever for anything.

There will be a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, and a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, both at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Owasso. Her ashes will be laid to rest next to the love of her life, Carl, at the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
