Rosena Elizabeth Fickett, age 103, died on September 18, 2010, in Mena, Arkansas.
She and her sister, Margaret Mary, were born to parents Milton Stroud and Margaret Monahan Fickett in Portland, Maine, on October 9, 1906.
As a child, she moved to Springfield, Missouri, where her father was in charge of Springfield Water Works.
Rosena worked as a secretary in the Southwestern Power Administration of the U.S. government.
She is survived by nephews and nieces and their spouses: Bob Fickett and wife; Larry Martin and wife; Bob Martin and wife; Linda Martin; Margaret Bearden Franks and husband, Jerry; Milton Bearden and wife; Brad Fickett and wife; Wayne Alexander III and wife; Rod Martin; Brad Martin; Scott Martin; Garrett Martin; Jenny Welz; Greg Franks and Gary Franks.
Rosena was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
A Rosary is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 23, 2010, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Her funeral service will be Friday, September 24, 2010, at 10 a.m., at Christ the King. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
