Ruth Marie Carnes, August 15, 1935 – July 21, 2010, was survived by her husband, Gail, President of Carnes Bros. Construction Company; her daughter, Sandy; her son, Tom her granddaughters, Kristen and Lauren Esposito, and Maddee Loughlin; and her sister, Barbara Roderick. She was employed by Kohl's. She is well known in the Tulsa community for her unselfish giving to others. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a past director of Oklahoma Hunter Jumper Association as well as a past president of Saint Francis Hospital Volunteer's Auxiliary. She was actively involved in the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America where she was a past High Priestess. Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, July 26 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E. 91st St. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at First United Methodist Church.
