Ruth Lebow, 91, Mother and Artist, died July 27, 2023, in her sleep.
Mrs. Lebow attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she met her husband, Marvin E. Lebow. He was her favorite champion and critic. He died suddenly in 2006. Ruth and Marvin's youngest son, the talented entrepreneur, Jay Lebow, passed away in 2007.
Ruth was an accomplished impressionist painter guided by her love of color, light, and bravura brushwork. She won many awards in regional and national juried shows.
Ruth is survived by her son, Dave Lebow, his wife, Nikki Lebow, granddaughter, Rose, and sisters, Myra Lenburg and Donna Perlson. Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, https://donate.cancer.org/ , < https://donate.cancer.org/ > 1(800) 227-2345.
