Sally Ann Conrad passed away peacefully on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born Sally Ann Wigert in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 11, 1925.  An early intense interest in art fashion and design led her to attend the Kansas City Art Institute where she graduated in 1943.  After working in the garment industry for several years, she met and married Thomas Worthington Conrad Jr. in 1949. They moved to Tulsa where Sally taught art classes in various locations.  In 1965 she opened the Art Gallery in Brookside which became popular for custom picture framing.  The business continued for over forty- five years at the same location on Peoria Avenue.  Not only was Sally a small Business owner at a time when female owners were few and far between, she was also a loving mother of four children. Her incredible devotion to her Family and Catholic faith was the foundation of her beautiful life. She served many years on the Board of the Tulsa Artist Guild and her art work could be seen around Tulsa in many charitable exhibits. She and Tom supported many struggling artists of the 1960's.  She was a long time member of Christ the King Parish.  She and her husband enjoyed many years golfing at Rolling Hills Country Club.  Sally and her cooking will be especially missed from the dinner table where wonderful meals and many guests enjoyed lively conversations.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband and twin sisters, Jean and Janet. She is survived by her four children, Tom and Jerry of Tulsa, Carol (Richard) of Bartlesville, and Mark (Diane) of Abilene, Texas, and her cherished granddaughter, Kristen, of Abilene.

A Rosary will be held Wednesday, March 30, at 7:00 pm, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 S. Boulder Avenue and Memorial Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, March 31, at 10:00 am.
