Sara Ann Nations, age 93, was born May 7, 1917 in Yonkers, OK and passed from this life on May 10, 2010 in Tuscon, AZ. A long time resident of Tulsa, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Delta Rho Delta Sorority and worked as a tailor and seamstress for many years.

Sara was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland Hannefield, and second husband, Glen Nations, grandson, David Hopkins, brother Joe Compton, sisters Yvonne Wyatt, Faye Butler and Wilma Anderson.

Sara is survived by daugher, Patricia and husband Sonny Litt, granddauaghter Deanna Freemyers, great granddaughters Kimberly and Ivie Kastner and Amber Hopkins, great great granddaughter Grace Kastner, sisters, Eula Ceretto, Lucybelle Williams, Maxine and husband Lewis Procter, sister-in-law, Blanche and husband Joe Compton, brothers R.D. and Herbert Compton, many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation at Fitzgerlad Ivy Chapel will be Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Internment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
