Selman Marvin Kremer, age 90, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Tulsa.
Selman was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 4, 1924. He was a cable television pioneer during his 60 year career in the cable and satellite industry. Selman's favorite pleasures were spending time with his family and friends, sharing great food and traveling around the world.
Selman is survived by: his wife of 24 years, Maryle Council Kremer; his children, Frank and Carol Kremer of Georgia; Julie Kremer and Bill Rich of Massachusetts; Sean Council of Broken Arrow; and Tracy Fisher of Tulsa. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Arnie and Jeremiah Blankenship, Emily and Matt Rusnak, Abigail Kremer, Jacob Rich, Emma Rich, Christopher Council, Cody Council, Lillian Council, Anthony Fisher; two great-grandchildren, Mara Blankenship and Mollie Rusnak; nephews, nieces, cousins and many, many friends.
Selman was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Wolf Kremer; his sister Dorothy Shapiro of Baltimore; and brothers, Beryl Kremer of Los Angeles and Irvin Kremer of Baltimore.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 201,5 at Temple Israel, 2004 East 22nd Place, Tulsa, OK 74114. Shiva service will be Thursday, March 19, 2015, 7:00 p.m., at Temple Israel. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
