Sharon Kay Gentry, a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 84 years old.
Sharon Kay was born on November 15, 1941, in Lyons, Kansas, to Ralph and Loretta Smith. She graduated from Cambridge City, Indiana, class of 1959.
On Feb. 10th, 1979, she married William Gentry. They made their home in Broken Arrow until 1991. They then moved to California for the next 7 years. In 1997 they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they lived until her death.
Sharon was very talented in woodworking, macrame, and cross stitching.
She was a proud mother of three children: Brian, Shawn, and Marcy. Seven grandchildren: Matthew, Candace, Chelsea, Kyle, Kody, Kaleb, and Koby; and four great-grandchildren: Mavrick, Lydia, Cora, and Sevn.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Smith; her mother, Loretta Smith; and her sister, Barbara Jensen. Her family finds peace in knowing she rests now in the loving arms of her Lord and those who went before her.
