Shelnutt, Shirley W., 82, died December 8th, 2014 in Tulsa OK. Originally from Georgia, she moved to Tulsa to be close to her daughter and family. She was retired from a career as a secretary for the Secretary of the Georgia State Senate and was a talented china painter, church choir member and Sunday School teacher, loving mother to her daughter Denise (Steve) Regouby, Bart (Beth) Shelnutt and Bill (Lori) Shelnutt. She dearly loved and was so proud of her 10 grandchildren (6 spouses) and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bob Shelnutt, and her parents, Willis Cawley Witcher and Rachel Moon Witcher. She was interred at the Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery in Monroe, Georgia on December 16, 2014.
