Stephen "Jay" Hitt lost his battle with cancer on May 11, 2015. He was surrounded by loved ones when he went to meet the Lord. Jay was born on April 17, 1958 to parents E. Jack and JoDelle Hitt. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Lisa of 11 years; son, Daniel Jack Hitt; daughter, Jayme Walther; three stepchildren, Rachel, Stephanie and Taylor; two brothers, Joe and Jim Hitt; sister, Jill Metcalf; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by; his parents and brother, John. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
