Stephen (Steve) Craig Ward, 69, was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 20, 1952, to George and Billie Ward. Steve graduated from Texas A&M with his Bachelor's and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center. Steve proudly served in the United States Air Force for 8 years.

In November 1990, Steve married the great love of his life, Debbie Ward. They would spend over 30 years living a life of love, laughs, and adventure. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, making memories.

Steve had a passion for delivering babies and teaching residents. His passion shined through when he was educating the next generation of physicians. When he wasn't working, he loved doing yard work, working with his hands, and completing various design projects. He had a great knack for cord control for those inside projects, and even more, he loved listening to his favorite music, louder than most!

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Ward; parents Billie and George Ward; sister Melissa Ward; daughter Cami Fultz; daughter Valerie Ward; daughter Bria Taylor and her husband Adam; son Ryan Ward and his wife Jessica; son Eric Ward and his wife Shelley; grandsons Barrett, Hendrik (Henry), Daegan, Declan, Myles and Deacon; and a very large extended family.

Celebration of Life to be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Southwood Colonial Chapel.
