Steven Evo Morelli was called to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2014, where he passed peacefully with family by his side. Born on Dec 19, 1913 in Canton, CT, to Italian immigrants, Olinto and Maria (Vanni) Morelli, he was the 7th of 9 children. In 1937, he graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Dairy Science. In 1940, Steve proudly served our country and fought in the Second World War as a member of the 90th Infantry Division, Field Artillery Unit, 344th Battalion. It was during this time, while stationed in France, that he met his future wife, Marie "Molly" Frisch Lancour, an Army WAC, from Nekoosa WI. On April 12, 1947, Steve and Molly wed in Tulsa, OK. This is where they made their home with their 5 children. Steve was a wonderful father who always made time for family. He was active, easy going and enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and having his grandkids over in the summer. The last 6 years of Steve's life were spent in Bulverde, Texas with his daughter Mary and her family. Many were blessed during his 100 years on this Earth…memories upon memories each of us will have of our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Olinto and Maria, his wife, Marie, his 8 siblings, Adolfo "Rudy", Felice "Phillip", Alina, Aldo "Al", Louise "Lois", Ray, Charles "Poppy" and Margaret.

Steve is survived by his five children and their spouses: Patrick (Jill Jacobson), Steven (Mary Foltz), Tim (Julie Moering), Mary Ann (Hank Unger) and Lynne (Jim Milliman) and nine grandchildren, Michael, Brian, and Anne Morelli, Meryl, Taylor, and Zachary Unger, &Tyler, Jordan, and Madison Milliman, as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 South Boulder Avenue, on Thursday, Noon until 5:00 p.m.  Services will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Tulsa, OK at 11:00 AM, on Friday, April 4, 2014.
