Steven D. "Steve" Connolly, 63, passed away March 9, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer. A private memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at a later date.
Steve was born in Highland Park, Il on 2/10/1954, to Harold and Ruth Connolly and is survived by his brothers, David and Dennis and sister Susanne (Forshaw). He and his wife Margaret (Meg) were married in 1981 and lived in Palatine, Il until they moved to Tulsa, Ok in the summer of 2013.
Steve worked for Illinois Bell Telephone for many years and was a Regional Sales Manager until he retired in 2000. He loved guitars and music and was a great teacher. A favorite weekend activity was going to the gun or rifle range with his brother Denny or friends. He always thought there was room for improvement. Steve wasn't much of a drinker but could never refuse a glass of Johnny Black and a good cigar with friends. He was a staunch Republican and could hardly contain himself when the 2016 results were posted. Unless you were of the same opinion it probably wasn't a good idea to debate politics with him.

Steve will be greatly missed by his wife Meg, family and many friends. He'll be there to greet us on the other side with a huge Steve hug.
