Sue Ellen "Susie" (Cohen) Robak entered into eternal life with her Heavenly Father on April 26, 2021, after succumbing to a lengthy illness. She passed peacefully at home.
Susie was born on September 30, 1956 to Don Melvin Cohen and Janette (Gilliam) Cohen of Duncan, Oklahoma. She graduated from Duncan High School and furthered her education at Stevens College in Missouri and the University of Oklahoma. (Boomer Sooner!) Susie worked as a Customer Service Representative for Southwestern Bell until meeting and marrying the love of her life, Richard Alan (Rick) Robak. They were joined in marriage by the Reverend James McGlinchy at St. Francis Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 24, 1981. They were blessed with two amazing sons, Tyler Alan and Jared Thomas, and Susie became a full time homemaker. Susie was the most loving and compassionate mother and wife! She had an enormous heart and loved everyone unconditionally. Susie was always generous with her time and talents and freely extended them to all in need. Never was there a more beautiful person (soul) on the inside as well as the outside.
Susie was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Perry Reid Cohen, and grandparents, Jack and Nellie (Abels) Cohen and George and Lenora Gilliam. She is survived by her best friend and faithful husband of almost forty years, her sweet sons, her loving and loyal sister, Linda (Cohen) Cornwell, wonderful brother-in-law, John Cornwell, loving Aunt Sandra Trockman, and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family whom she adored and who deeply loved her.
Susie's beautiful smile will be greatly missed, but she will remain forever in our hearts until we meet again!
Family only visitation will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral home on Thursday, April 29th, 2021.
