Obituary
Susan Jane Everly Douze, died Saturday, December 18, 2010. Susan was born May 28, 1947 in Engleton, New Jersey to Robert and Helen Everly.
Susan was a retired journalist who began her career working for the Associated Press in New York City. She received her degree from Boston University. After her marriage to Eduard, she moved to Tulsa and began working for the Tulsa World.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Eduard J. Douze and is survived by her brother: Robert Everly and two nephews: Robert Everly and Richard Everly, all of New York.
Susan enjoyed the Arts and foraying for morels. She was also a Master Gardner.
The family has requested no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chamber Music Tulsa or the Nature Conservancy.
A delayed memorial service will be held in the spring.
