Susan Fenster, 89, died June 10, 2019.
Susan Fenster was a pillar of the Tulsa community. Her dedication, love and support of the Jewish community were without parallel. She was involved and a leader in every aspect of Jewish life; Temple Israel, The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art, and the Jewish Federation of Tulsa. Susan was funny, warm, kind and yet a formidable adversary. She was a mentor to many and shared her commitment to make this world a better place.
She is survived by: her son Gerald; daughter Laura (John Rosenberg); grandchildren, Seth (Kimia) and Jesse; her sister-in-law Irene Fenster; many nieces, nephews, and dedicated family members.
She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Fenster, the loving sister of the late Mason Fink, and cherished sister-in-law of the late Irving Fenster.
Graveside services will be Thursday 11:00 am at Rose Hill Cemetery followed by a 12:00 pm Reception at Temple Israel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art or Temple Israel.
