Susan Marie Martin, age 36, died on Monday, December 17, 2018 in her Tulsa, Oklahoma home surrounded by love.  From her birth in Tulsa, on January 26, 1982 to her death on Monday, she poured her love, faith, and knowledge to anyone she spoke to.  She was the youngest of five children.  Being the only girl, she learned quickly to hide under tables from the large feet of her brothers.  She is survived by Ethan Grace (son), Makayla Grace (daughter), Peter Weikel (brother), James Weikel (brother), Paul Weikel (brother), John Weikel (brother), Sonnia Weikel (mother), Brett Martin (husband), and Edward Weikel (father).  She started college after high school, and continued to change her passions starting with progression through Veterinary medicine, elementary education, interior design, and ended her quest for knowledge with a bachelors in Construction Engineering with emphasis in BIM (Building Infrastructure Modeling.)  In her quest for knowledge, she stumbled upon a bumbling fellow student that was smitten with her from the moment he saw her.  It was Susan's unique poise and demeanor that set her apart from every other person on the planet that struck Brett Martin's heart.  Susan and Brett married on September 12, 2013 in Eureka Springs.  Susan will be remembered as a bright, shining light in the various lives and groups she touched.  Her love and compassion for others is reflected in the outpouring of love and support for her family in these troubling times.  Susan continued her love of others by saving lives through donating parts of herself to others in need.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Healing Grace Church, 81st and Yale with minister Greg Riether officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa.  The family will also greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 23rd at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel in Tulsa, and again at church on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.  The Martin family would like to extend our gratitude to all family, friends, and loved ones for their attentiveness, compassion, and loving care.  Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 918-585-1151.
