Suzette Yvonne Wilson, age 68, of Tulsa, passed away May 15, 2022.
She was born Suzette Partridge on January 26, 1954, in Honolulu, HI. A proud daughter of a United States Marine, Suzette was raised in California, where she graduated from Bolsa Grande High School in Garden Grove. Suzette thrived at doing things for others. As a young woman, Suzette was active in the Girls Missionary Guild. As an adult, she was a member of the Rotary Club. She worked for years as an Emergency Medical Technician. She enjoyed serving as president of the PTA and was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. She was actively involved at Parish of Christ the King, participating in Women's ACTS Retreats and regularly volunteering with RCIA Classes. Suzette treasured her many years working as a manager at Casa Bonita in Tulsa where she made lifelong friends. She spent the last 25 years as an employee of Daltile in Tulsa, where she was beloved by co-workers and customers alike.
Suzette loved holidays and time spent with family, any excuse to get together with the people she most cared about. She would mail cookies to customers at Christmas, bake cakes for coworkers on their birthdays and loved to cook and host meals for her extended family.
A true California girl at heart, Suzette loved the beach, swimming pools and warm summer weather. She loved traveling, camping, fishing and was an avid reader. Suzette was a loving mother and grandmother. Nana, as her grandchildren called her, loved to play board games and watch movies with them. She was always a presence at school assemblies, plays and sports activities.
Suzette was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Iris Partridge. She is survived by her sister, Donni Partridge Zeigler and husband John Zeigler of Tulsa, her son Jae Wilson and Leslie Tibbets of Tulsa, her daughter Sarah Smith and husband Jared Smith of Tulsa, and eight grandchildren, Honey Mae, Woodrow, Jack Wilson and Gavin Bartley of Tulsa, and Riley, Kyle, Mason and Peyton Smith of Tulsa, and other extended family.
Rosary will be Friday, May 20th, 7:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel and Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 21th, 9:00 a.m., at Christ the King Church, both in Tulsa.
