Sylvia Frances Nagy, 94, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, currently of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, in Tulsa. Oklahoma.
Sylvia was born on June 13, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Peter and Mary Wielgot. On October 3, 1953, she married Arnold Nagy, in Chicago, Illinois, and they shared 63 wonderful years together. Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Caring for her family, and home brought her a great amount of joy through the years, and she did it well. She especially liked to cook, and garden. Her grandchildren delighted her, and she loved all things related to her family, and spending time with them. She was also a Chicago Bears fan, and enjoyed watching the games and cheering for her hometown team.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Nagy, currently of Tulsa, two children, Renee McIntyre, and her husband, Randy, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Michael Nagy, and his wife, Kelly, of Lakewood, California, two grandchildren, Luke McIntyre, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Brooke Nagy, of Lakewood, California, and numerous other extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Virginia Rozycki, and brother, Edwin Wielgot.
