Ted Bullinger was born in Henrietta Texas on June 25th, 1924 to Theodore and Anastasia (Lerner) Bullinger. Ted passed peacefully from this life on May 17th, 2017 at the age of 92.
Ted held the rank of lieutenant in the Army Air Corp during WWII. After his discharge from the service he married the love of his life, Kay Samuelson. In 1946 they were married in Phoenix Arizona. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Ted graduated from the University of Texas in 1950 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for a number of companies including: Chance Vought, Cessna and lastly with Douglas and McDonnell Douglas for thirty-three years. His last sixteen years at Douglas were as Tulsa Division Chief Engineer. By the time he retired in 1986 he had worked over the years on projects that encompassed aircraft, missiles and spacecraft.
Ted is survived by his wife Kay (Samuelson) Bullinger, his daughter Susan Clark and his two sons; Steve Bullinger and Ted Bullinger. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass in his honor is to be held at The Church of the Madalene on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
