Theresa Langron Megeath, age
62, died March 18, 2013, after a
long battle with cancer. Theresa
was a brilliant medical profes-sional, educator, wife, homemaker
and grandmother. Her influence
and love will be sorely missed by
all who loved her. She was born
in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Janu-ary 3, 1951, to Patrick Joseph and
Marjorie May Westcott Langron,
who both preceded her in death.
Theresa was also preceded in
death by two brothers, Dennis and James.
She is survived by: her husband, Michael
J. Megeath; son, Michael V. A. Megeath;
grandchildren, Hailey and Sierra; siblings,
Bernadette Bullock (Dwayne), John Lan-gron, Rose Adams; and numerous loving
cousins, nieces and nephews; and espe-cially Pauline Durand.
Theresa earned her
BA in English in 1975 and an MEd in Spe-cial Education in 1995 from the
University of Utah. She was fluent
in Farsi. Theresa spent 16 years
with a noted psychiatrist in Salt
Lake City, Utah and then taught
Special Education in Salt Lake's
Granite School District. This was
followed by a career in the Bro-ken Arrow School District where
she was awarded Lynn Wood El-ementary School's Teacher of the
Year for 2005.
Theresa loved to
read biographies, travel and was
a genius at planning trips.
