Thomas William Frazee, loving husband and father, passed from this life Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the age of 86. Born November 19, 1924 in Tulsa to Charles and Dolores Frazee, Tom attended Tulsa schools and graduated from Tulsa Central in 1942 where he was a member of the tennis team. After attending the University of Tulsa for one year, Tom was called to service in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. Upon return, he attended Oklahoma A&M University where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working fifteen years in sales for Power Machinery, Tom formed DynMac Corporation in 1966 and served as its President until his retirement in 1986. He was a charter member of the Thornton Family YMCA where he served on the board and was actively involved with his daughters' swim teams in the 1970s. He was an avid golfer and cherished his friendships at Oaks Country Club where he was a member for nearly 40 years and served on the board. Tom was a passionate supporter of OSU athletics and loved attending Cowboy football and basketball games with his son and grandsons. He always greeted friends and strangers alike with a warm smile, and his friendly demeanor endeared him to everyone he came to know. He will be greatly missed by the many friends he made at St. Johns Health Club, whom he considered his second family during the 20 plus years he exercised there. Tom attended Harvard Avenue Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Frazee, sister Mary Frazee and nephew Thomas Frazee. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 55 years, Freda Frazee, daughters Dolores Blackman and her husband Carl Blackman of Houston, Delene Wallace and her husband Clark Wallace of Tulsa, Sarah Lee and her husband Kent Lee of Oklahoma City, son Todd Frazee and his wife Dr. Lori Hare Frazee of Tulsa, and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Harvard Avenue Christian Church on Saturday, July 2 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
