Tonya Chesser Longo went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday June 23, 2019, in Tulsa, OK. A Celebration of Tonya's life will be held at 11 AM, on Wednesday, July 10th at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.
Tonya Danette Chesser was born in Tulsa, OK on September 4, 1958, the daughter of Lester Chesser, Jr. and Billie Ann Porter Chesser.
She was a graduate of Jenks High School and NEO A&M College.
She met the love of her life, Joseph Longo and they were married on July 2, 2004. They enjoyed 14 years together.
Tonya was loved by all. No matter the situation, she always made everyone feel at ease. Happiness oozed from her and she had a wit like no other. She had a love for arts and crafts and many of her relatives received a labor of her love. To all her nieces and nephews, she was the "cool aunt!"
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Longo; father, Lester Chesser, Jr., sister, Debbie Schrack and husband Boyce; brothers; Ben Chesser and wife Joni, Sammy Chesser and wife Debbie; her beloved nieces and nephews, Lisa Hillen, Michael Todd, Stephanie Schrack, Ashley McMahan and husband Adam, Nicholas Chesser, Brandi Salerno and husband Mo, Daniel Chesser and wife Jennifer; great nephews, Blake Klein, Hayden Klein, Ezekiel Wallace, Caleb McMahan, Cohen McMahan and Grady Salerno, and great-niece Olivia Salerno.
Tonya will be missed by many but we know that she is in a better place and we will see her again.
