Vanessa Yen Duong, aged 64, passed away on July 13, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on August 5, 1959, in Saigon, Vietnam, Vanessa moved to the United States where she built a life enriched with dedication and love for her family and community. Vanessa graduated from Solano Community College in 1988 and spent over 20 years working as a tailor, a career through which she touched the lives of many with her craftsmanship and attention to detail. She leaves behind her husband, Mike Mai; sons, Frank and Daniel Mai; daughter-in-law, Amber Mai; sisters, Phung Kim Duong and Lisa Thanh Duong; brothers, Duke Minh Duong, Deron Duc Duong, Hanh Tan Duong, and Phuc Tan Duong; and granddaughters, Iris Ruth Mai and Lily Marie Weirich. Vanessa was preceded in death by her father, Luc Duong, and mother, Cau Thi Vo. Vanessa's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
