BINZ, Verna Hermina, 86, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. She was born April 7, 1925 in Paris, AR to Stephen and Lena Hellmer Otten. Verna was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by; her parents; husband, Biggen Binz; and sisters, Catherine Geesing, Eileen Worley and Marie Manus. She is survived by, daughter, Sherry Hunt, son, Larry Binz, both of Tulsa, OK; grandson, Greg Hunt and wife Brooke, great-granddaughters, Greta Hunt and Eliza Hunt all of Skiatook, OK; and, nieces, Jeanette Geesing, Roseburg, OR and Elaine Manus, Tulsa, OK. Verna adored her family, especially her grandson and great-granddaughters. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 and Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 918-291-3500.
