Virginia Price Hendrix, 86, passed away on June 23, 2013. Born on April 24, 1927 in Alton, IL, Virginia lived in Tulsa and Sapulpa most of her life. She volunteered at the Tulsa Psychiatric Center, St. Francis Hospital, the Tulsa County Library System, and Bishop Kelley High School, and donated blankets to The Madonna House.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene M. Hendrix, USMC, Ret., her parents, Ross and Marie Price, her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy L. and Harold C. Kidd, and by her brother and sister-in-law Robert R. and Jane A. Price, all of Tulsa. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Nancy K. and Jerry C. Haddock, St. Augustine, FL, and Randall E. and Maria C. Hendrix of the Woodlands, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren: Ross Hendrix and wife Hillary, Craig Hendrix, Robert Haddock and wife Roxanne, Richard Haddock and wife Sandra, Adam Haddock, and Leighanne Haddock; Nicholas and Tristan Haddock, and Sage and Kai Haddock.

She treasured her many dear friends, enjoyed her art, bridge, and other activities, and deeply appreciated all those who lent helping hands in her times of need.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Church of the Madeline on July 1, 2013 at 1:30 pm., arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Bishop Kelley High School, the Madonna House, or a charity of choice.
