While there, she served as the president of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. After college, Virginia married, started a family, and began her career in advertising working for small firms in the Oklahoma City area. She and her family later moved to Kansas City where she worked for Bernstein and Rein as a media buyer.
Finally, after a period of years of wanting to return to Tulsa to be near family and friends, she took a position with Littlefield Inc in Tulsa and worked as the Media Director. She semi-retired in 2009 and later formed and operated Media Hero, LLC.
Virginia was active in her community. She was a past board member of Wauhillau Outing Club, and previous board member of Call Rape and DVIS. She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. She will be missed by her small faith group from her parish, her un-bunko group, Saint Charles Guild, ZTA sisters, early morning Jazzercise group, and many friends and family.
Virginia's slice of heaven here on earth was Wauhillau Outing Club, where she took time to enjoy the wilderness as well as her friends and family. She also enjoyed time at the river, hiking, fishing, playing cards, and other games. Virginia was a fun-loving and deeply spiritual woman.
