Obituary

Walter Warren Logan, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2006. Walter was born to Frank and Lesta (Berry) Logan on November 2, 1920, in Dodge City, Kansas. He married Ella Soderholm on October 19, 1947, in Roscommon, MI. He served in the Pacific with the Army Air Corps, during World War II. He retired as a Production Supervisor for Sun Oil Company. He was past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Roscommon.

Walter was a kind, generous, hard-working man, who loved his Lord, family, and country. He was an avid baker and provided banana nut bread to his family, neighbors and friends.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Ella; and brother, Col. Franz Logan, DDS. He is survived by sons, John W. Logan and James D. Logan; daughters, Linda Ault and husband, Michael, and Katherine McKinney and husband, W.N,; grandchildren, Staff Sgt. Daniel M. Wells and wife, Kathleen, Linnea S. Wells, Micha J. Carson, Dr. Erin Anderson and husband, Dirk, Pvt. James K. Ault; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 12-6 PM, Sunday, August 27, 2006, at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st Street, Tulsa. Service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at Fellowship Lutheran Church, where Walter was a member. Interment at Floral Haven Cemetery.
