Wanda Marlene Maloney, 78,
of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away
peacefully in her sleep on August
22, 2013. She was born on October
20, 1934 in Fox, Oklahoma,
daughter of Joe and Gladys Trammell,who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death
by her brothers, Herschel and
Jack Trammell, and sisters, Dersie
Spivey, Mary Pierce, Charlene
Trammell, and Gladys Ann Trammell.
Marlene is survived by: her
husband of 37 years, Thomas J. Maloney;sisters, Jo Marston, Betty Lowry, EuLeah Hall, Kay Washburn and Leigh Shane; children,
Jack Clayton Marston, Kathryn Poppy,Thomas P. Maloney, and Kevin Maloney; grandchildren, Vincent Marston, Mikel Dustin Phipps, Garrett Maloney, Rebecca Maloney, Jessica Maloney, Ian Maloney and
Sean Maloney; great-grandchildren, Sarah Phipps and Brandon Phipps; and many nieces and nephews. Marlene was a loving wife and mother and, after working in the
banking field for many years, became a devoted homemaker. She
was active in the PTA during her
children's school years and volunteered at St. FrancisHhospital
delivering the cheer cart and
flowers to patients. Marlene loved
playing piano at Church services,
flower and vegetable gardening,
bird watching, and aerobic dancing
and was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation to be held on Monday,August 26th, from 5-7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel (3612 E. 91st St.South) followed by the Rosary Vigil Service at 7 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated
at St. Mary's Catholic Church (1347 E. 49th Place) on Tuesday, August 27, at 1 pm, followed
immediately by interment at Calvary
Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all who gave their love, support and prayers during her lengthy illness. Arrangements
