William "Bill" Haddock, age 78, passed away on August 12, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1948, in Norman, Oklahoma, Billy truly was everyone's Valentine. He was born to Dr. Jim and Marie Haddock and spent his early years in Norman, where he graduated from Norman High School with the Class of 1966. He began his college education at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, before transferring to the University of Arkansas and earning a degree in Business Administration.

In 1971, Billy married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Gigi. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, friendship, and unwavering devotion to one another. Their 55-year marriage was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and commitment.

After moving to Tulsa in 1972, Billy founded Haddock Construction in 1978. Through hard work, integrity, and a genuine care for others, he built a respected business that thrived on long-lasting relationships. Today, his legacy lives on and is now led by his son, David.

Billy was a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He generously gave his time coaching youth basketball, where he became a beloved mentor to countless young athletes. Whether on the sidelines of a basketball court, in the stands at an OU football game, or around the dinner table with family, Billy had a way of making people feel loved, encouraged, and valued.

Billy's happiest moments were spent with Gigi and his family on the water. Every chance he could he would head to the lake. A devoted fan of Oklahoma Sooners football, he and Gigi were lifelong season ticket holders who faithfully supported their beloved Sooners.

Above all else, Billy was a family man. He fiercely loved his wife, his children, and his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. His kindness, quick smile, generous spirit, and creative story telling will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Gigi Haddock; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Sarah Haddock, and their children, Zella, Ali, and Emory; his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jon Hoover, and their children, Hudson and Harrison; his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Shirley Haddock; his sister-in-law, Jeanette Haddock; and many treasured family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Jim and Marie Haddock, and his older brother, Jimmy Haddock.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mason Chapel at Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa.

Billy's life was defined by faith, family, friendship, and love. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the business he built, and the countless lives he touched. While his absence leaves a tremendous void, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever.
