Willie Jewell Davis, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on June 23, 1936 in Coatsworth, Oklahoma, the daughter of Buck and Nora (Kirkpatrick) Heffington.
Willie loved bowling, golfing, and going to country music shows. All these activities filled her life, but her main interest was her children and grandchildren who filled her life and heart.
She loved to travel with her husband to Hawaii, London, Greece and across the United States. Willie loved Branson, because of her love for country music. She enjoyed cooking and being the hostess at holiday parties.
She was married to the love of her life, Burns Davis, on August 25, 1956. They were married for 66 years.
Willie is survived by her husband, Burns Davis, of the home, daughter, Penny Davis Roth, and her husband, Jim, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, son Rudy Davis, and his wife, Diane, of Rowlett, TX, grandchildren, Shane Davis, and his wife, Jennifer, of Rogers, Arkansas, Sasha Davis Miri, and her husband, Aaron of St. Augustine, Florida, Courtney Roth, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brittany Roth, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Dakota Bower, of Wylie, Texas, Kate Milner, and her husband, Austin, of Dallas, Texas, great granddaughters, Madeline and Morgan Miri, of St. Augustine, Florida, and Caroline Davis, of Rogers, Arkansas, sister, Billie Sue Blevins, and her husband, Denton, of Seminole, Oklahoma, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, Seigel Heffinton, sisters, Jody Dixon and Audra Troutman, and nephew, Woody Lewis.
The family would like to recognize Kylie of the home health agency who gave loving care to Willie.
