Woodrow Wilson Swick, age 93 of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010, in Tulsa.
Woodrow was born on November 25, 1916 in Nevada, Missouri, to Cleveland W. and Alice C. (Niederhelm) Swick. He attended school in Nevada, Missouri and married Pauline Frances Raska in April 1942 in Coweta, Oklahoma.
He served in the Army National Guard before being called to serve in the United States Army during World War II. After the service, Woodrow went to work for Carl M. Leonard & Son Incorporated Insurance Company as an Accountant for more than twenty years before retiring.
Woodrow is survived by his daughter, Paula Twist and husband, Frank, of Tulsa; son, Michael Swick and wife, Janet, of Evanston, Wyoming; grandchildren, Jaret C. Twist of Tulsa, William M. Swick of Logan, Utah, Jonathan B. Swick of Ogden, Utah, and a great-great granddauaghter Chole Swick of Odgen, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and one sister.
A funeral will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 S. Boulder, Tulsa, OK.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
