Yasuko Lindsay, age 87, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 23, 1937, in Motobu, Okinawa, to Senko and Tsuru Taira.

She was the fourth of five children, and stayed deeply connected with her family in Okinawa despite the distance between them.

She married Don Lindsay in 1964 and moved to California, where they raised their three children. They also lived in Arizona and Tennessee before settling in Tulsa for the last 20 years. She loved family, cruising, and cooking. Her family and friends will always remember her for her laughter, her smile, and her generosity.

She is survived by her loving husband Don Lindsay; her sister Kiyoko Taira; her children Naomi Lindsay and her husband Bob Stubbs, Doug Lindsay and his wife Betsy Kimball, and Don Lindsay; her grandchildren Marisa Stubbs and Kyle Stubbs; as well as many nieces and nephews residing in Okinawa.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on April 23, 2025, at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.
